Come worship this Sunday at The church in DeKalb
We’re in the meat of our The Walking series, discovering what it means to be a Christian. So far we’ve laid the foundation of I John in three parts (1) To be a Christian means to be with the church, walking with God. (2) There are two roads but real life can only be found in Jesus. (3) Jesus is where we’re going, and Jesus get’s us there. The next two weeks will be important: the two steps of walking the road: Love, and Identity.

The church in DeKalb
The church is DeKalb is about one thing: The story of Jesus colliding with the story of us.
Gospel means “Good News.” The Good News of the story of Jesus is that He has lived a perfect life in our place, He has died a terrible death in our place, He has been buried, and He has been risen from the dead.
As the story of Jesus collides with our story we find ourselves responding in Worship, Love, and Mission.
This is what our church is about, one thing, the gospel moving in us, transforming us to worship our God, love each other, and tell this Good News.
